Create a unique Southwest holiday design this year.
Southwest Christmas Graphics, a huge holiday package with a different flavor. Many people in the Southwest decorate the saguaro and other cactus for the holidays while the bougainvillea is in bloom. The result is a colorful and festive Christmas.
This package includes: cacti, including several saguaro cacti, some are decorated with lights and some aren’t so that you can decorate them if you desire. The large saguaro comes in three color variations. I’ve included a Santa hat in case you want to make your cactus extra festive and somewhat humorous. I’ve also included a version of the main cactus stem and arms in case you want to create a unique cactus.
A Southwest Christmas tree decorated with a sun ornament, hot peppers, and other ornaments is also included.
This package also has many scene props, including adobe walls and a floor, and numerous other props: a bow, peppers, flower pots, a sun ornament, a sun star tree top, and more.
Some Holiday Lights that I created in Illustrator are included that Paint Shop Pro Users can use for a Paint Shop Pro Tube. Simply open the file, then go to file, export, Picture Tube. When the “Export Picture Tube” box comes up, put 6 for the cells across and 5 for the cells down. Set it to “Random,” name it, then save it. I use Paint Shop Pro 9 so I hope this is how it’s still done in newer versions.
The hot peppers are new versions of the peppers from the old single tube section. These are much larger, and they are greatly improved.
As for the cacti, you’ll find a smaller version of my saguaro cactus in this package. I must tell you the story behind that. I worked for a whole day on creating that cactus and decorating it with all of those lights and strings. At some point I accidentally re-sized the cactus to only 766 pixels, probably when I was decreasing the size of the lights, and I only learned that I’d done this after I set the cactus into my scene and saw that it was tiny. Was I ever upset. Ha, ha. I had to spend another day creating the cactus all over again. But it went well as the new cactus looked much better anyway. Just know that there is a small and large version of the saguaro cactus in this package. The large versions are about 1000 x 2000 pixels. The small versions look great in the background.
There are 68 royalty free, high-quality clip art PNG images in this package. All of these images (except the background) have transparent backgrounds making it easy for you to use them as tubes or nozzles–or merely to drop into your design.
The size of these images varies but are approximately 1200 X 2000 pixels. All are 300 DPI, making them great for print projects.
